Dan McCullagh
I have studied at Teesside University and gained qualifications in Computer Animation (HND) and Creative Digital Media (BA Hons).
During my time at University I have learned many skills in the 3D field, including Animation, Modelling, Texturing, Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing to name a few.
My main focus has always been on 3D modelling using 3Ds Max however I am capable of many other digital skills. Animation has always been a passion of mine, creating short character animations and fly through’s have been the main extent of the animation completed so far.
My animation skills include 3D modelling (character or other), Rigging, Skinning, Camera work and general scene work, this means that I could be a useful member in any area of an animation team.
Since University I have been working for a conservatory company specialising in the 3D work created for customers.
This work is creating 3D still images of conservatory’s which a potential customer is thinking of purchasing. The images include a front, left, right and 3D view to show off the look. The images also include the customer’s garden and existing house to make it feel more personal.
To sum up, I am a competent 3D artist who can be an advantageous member of a team or confident enough to take on personal projects.
I would promote myself as a 3D Artist / Visualiser as my best work is in the 3D Modelling and Visualisation fields.
Please take a look at my showreel for examples of the type of work I create.
