My interest in 3D animation first began whilst at the University of Teesside in which I gained a 2:1 BA (HONS) degree in Interior Design.
Using 3D Studio Max I created a number of virtual interiors in which I made a camera walk around the space not only in order to get a feel for the space but to create an ambient atmosphere through the use of texture, colour and lighting.
I initially worked from scaled plans and drawings before turning the designs into a 3D model.
I think that 3D animations of interiors let the client get a feel for the space virtually before it has been physically created. Creating 3D interiors is my strong point in terms of 3D animation, however, I am now branching out into other areas, teaching myself new skills as I go along and enjoying the process.
I loved studying Interior Design whilst at University and now use the skills I created both professionally and in my own spare time. Not only did I learn how 3D animation but I can create 2D plans and elevations, axonometric drawings, perspective drawings and visualisations. I can also make scaled models of interiors as I feel that this is a good tool when initially designing the layout of a space. I also love to use Adobe Photoshop to create 2D artistic designs alongside using the programme for photograph restoration.
Whether it be a 2D or 3D design that you need I feel I have the skills to meet your demands, producing professional work to a high standard.
